Welcome to Refugee Nurses of Australia

Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution.
Article 14
Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Our aim is to provide a forum for discussion of professional, strategic and contemporary issues for nurses who work with people with a refugee background.

Our vision is that nurses in Australia who work with refugees and asylum seekers in any clinical setting should have access to the support, networking and professional development opportunities they need to provide safe and high-quality care to their clients.

RNA acknowledges that our work in the community takes place on the Traditional Lands of many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and therefore respectfully recognise their Elders, past and present, and the ongoing Custodianship of the Land and Water by all Members of these Communities.
