Refugee health nurses win merit awards for posters at 42nd World Hospital Congress

Congratulations to the Metro South Refugee Health team who won merit awards for both of their posters at last weekend’s 42nd World Hospital Congress. Their first poster, produced with Brisbane South PHN and the Mater Refugee Health Service describes the collaborative partnership response between the three organisations to address the 32% increase in new refugee arrivals in 2016/2017 due to the humanitarian crisis is Syria and Iraq. Their second poster was on the integration of an oral health wellness program into their service.
