Refugee Health Nurse Standards of Practice released

At the first Refugee Nurses of Australia forum in November 2017 members began workshopping the Standards of Practice for Refugee Health Nurses. With the support of Professor Liz Halcomb, this work has been progressed and further developed by the Steering Committee of RNA and we are now very excited to release the Standards of Practice.

The webinar presented by the Chairperson of RNA, Sandy Eagar RN gives more information on the development and details of the Standards. These capture the essence of refugee health nursing as a specialist branch of nursing in its own right and reflect the myriad of different roles and contexts in which refugee health nurses work.
